The Destined for a Dream Foundation
Board of Directors help chart the foundation's course. They bring a vast array of experience and a high level
of skills that help maintain and keep the vision and mission of Destined for a Dream. As a whole, the Board helps
with daily operations of Destined for Dream. It selects, evaluates and supports the Executive Director. The Board
also protects the foundation's assets, enhances the outlook of the organization, ensures accountability, maintains legal
integrity and assesses its own performance.
Our Board of Directors: Tyree (Gunter) Thompson: President Tyree Gunter Thompson is a School Psychologist. Tyree is the President of
the Board of Directors for DFAD. She attended Widener University in Chester, PA for her undergraduate degree in Psychology
with a concentration in Elementary Education. In addition, she attended graduate school at Rowen University in Glassboro,
NJ for her Masters and Educational Specialist degrees. She and her husband, Nicholas, currently reside in Marlton, NJ.
In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with her family, traveling, singing with her church choir, exercising and reading.
Gregory Harris: Vice President Gregory
Harris is a Social Worker for the Department of Veterans Affairs. He attended Widener University in Chester,
PA for his undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, with a certificate in Psychology. In addition, he attended graduate
school at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA for his Masters of Social Work Degree. Mr Harris is currently a member
of National Association of Social Workers and presently on the Board of Director with the Village of Arts and Humanities.
In his spare time he enjoys theatre and sporting events. Mr.Harris currently resides in Philadelphia, PA. Harley Morais: Treasurer Harley is Customer Services Management for Commerce/TD Bank in Philadelphia.
Harley has worked in financial management for over 10 years. Harley enjoys spending quality time with
his son. Niansa F. St Fleur: Program
Manager - Niansa
is a store manager for a popular retail store, with over seven years of professional experience. She attended The Richard
Stockton College of NJ and graduated with an undergraduate degree in Psychology. Niansa has worked with several youth
groups part-time, and believes in the ability to touch a persons life through a simple act of kindness. In her spare
she enjoys reading, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
Amir Fralin: Summer Intern 2010: - Amir is a Senior at Gwynedd Mercy College where
he is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Management. Amir plans to use his Business Administration
degree to service our youth in the community. His desire for youth goes far beyond sitting at a desk or crunching numbers.
In his spare time, Amir sings in a gospel group called Chosen Elect, writes music, plays the organ and keyboard, coaches
soccer and track & field. He also enjoys long walks on the beach and spending quality time with his family.
