On Saturday October
3, 2009, the Destined for A Dream organization hosted an explosive coming out to the community event at Dave and Buster's
in Philadelphia, PA. Filled with an electrifying performance from Drummer's With Attitude of Levittown, PA., and special guest
appearances from SpongeBob, Pablo and Uniqua of the Backyardigans. The event was packed wall to wall with supporting vendors
along with face painting, clowns, arts and crafts and grooving music. Guest in
attendance enjoyed bowling along with food and had opportunities to win amazing prizes ranging from 76ers tickets to weekend
getaways. Destined for A Dream also wanted to encourage youth to pursue higher education by giving away 300 plus book bags
filled with school supplies, and free meal passes. The DFAD organization would like thank all of their sponsors, volunteer's
and the community for all of their help in making this launch event a success. All of your support was greatly appreciated!
