Hello Students and Parents, below is our schedule
for "Dream Academy" 2011
We ask for all students registered this semester for Dream Academy, try to attend each
session! If you are going to miss a session, DFAD needs to be notified! We are here to help navigate you through
your college/trade school process. This coming semester we have lots to accomplish before June. So, we hope to see ya
there. We are also offering scholarships...so, please attend and stay tuned!
Purpose:
To provide a program to youth that proposes and supports the initiative of continuing education
after high school. Dream Academy will enhance and create options for youth that otherwise may not have considered continuing
education in their future. This program campaigns self-empowerment by working closely with the students, aggressively
addressing college/trade school planning and selection and assisting youth a plan that is tailored to fit their individual
needs. The mission is to build relationships with high school soph, jr, and secure a plan for the graduating seniors.
